| The download links above are for the setup program of the latest trial edition of WorldClock.
Please use the Zip file link if your browser does not allow you to directly download the
exe file in the link above. This zip file is simply an archive of the exe file and may be
preferred if you are worried about anti-virus security.
Please note the link above to Microsoft's MSXML download page. WorldClock uses
Microsoft's XML Parser to parse the XML data it receives from weather.com for the weather feature.
It is important that you have the correct version of MSXML installed on your computer for this feature
to work properly. MSXML version 3 or MSXML version 4 (with their latest service packs) are acceptable.
If you have Windows XP SP1 or SP2 installed, or if you have Internet Explorer version 6 (or higher)
installed, you already have this package and need not worry. If you have an older Windows or IE
version, it is advisable that you click on the link above and download the latest MSXML before you
install WorldClock. Alternatively, you can download and install the latest version of
Microsoft's Internet Explorer
to achieve the same affect -- the latest versions of IE include MSXML in their installations.
As stated on the main page, this trial version of WorldClock is fully functional but has the
following limitations:
- Application settings are not saved between sessions.
- Although the TimeSync function operates normally and will tell you how much your PC's clock is off, it will not automatically reset it for you like the full version.
Please refer to the What's New section for an itemized
description of the latest changes to WorldClock.
